The NVS-9 is a very effective and versatile night vision device. A very powerful generation 2+ HP image intensifier is installed, which has a very good contrast as well as a very good detail recognition. A focusable, two-stage IR-headlight with a wavelength of 805nm is available. The activation of the spotlight is protected by a safety mechanism against accidental activation, the activation of the IR-spotlight is signalled by a red diode within the visual field. A second IR-headlight with a 905nm wavelength is also available, this is activated by means of a push button and is only suitable for short distances. The activation is signalled by a green diode within the visual field.
